The Warren Beltz Clothing Co., located at 329 South Main St., now has the second generation of the Beltz family actively engaged in the business. Scott, who worked at the store through his high school and college days, is now formally connected to the business.

Warren Beltz, the founder, has more than 40 years of experience in the clothing business. He started at the Leon’s store and in 1949, opened his own store, Warren’s. The present Beltz Clothing was opened in 1961.

The store offers a wide selection of clothing for men, from medium price to the highest quality. Brand names include suits and sports coats by Greshire, Botany 500, Varsity Town and Phoenix. Arrow shirts, Lord Jeff Sweaters and Arnold Palmer Sportswear, Hart Shaffer and Mars and Kingsridge clothing line have been added for spring of 1974.

Beltz Clothing, in addition to offering the finest merchandise available, guarantee all its merchandise and maintains a liberal approval and return policy for their customers.

Free gift wrapping and alterations are a few of the services maintained for the customer. In addition, free garment bags are given with the purchase of a suit or sport coat.

Besides Warren Beltz and his son Scott, the employees are Jim Rosencrans, with 15 years experience. Jim Maul, in his fifth year and Inez Smith with seven years as alteration lady.

The store’s policy is that the customer always comes first and will always receive the personal assistance needed for complete satisfaction.
